Baseball Game Preview: Treasure Coast Titans vs. Port St. Lucie Jaguars

Treasure Coast is 7-2 against Port St. Lucie since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Treasure Coast Titans will square off against the Port St. Lucie Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. Port St. Lucie took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Treasure Coast, who comes in off a win.

Treasure Coast's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They had just enough and edged Tradition Prep out 1-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Treasure Coast got a great performance from Colin Jackson as he didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave Jackson a new career-high.

At the plate, Treasure Coast saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Brandt, who went a perfect1-for-1 with two stolen bases. The dominant performance gave Brandt a new career-high in stolen bases.

Meanwhile, Port St. Lucie came up short against Okeechobee on Friday and fell 6-1.

Port St. Lucie's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Treasure Coast, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Everything went Treasure Coast's way against Port St. Lucie in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Treasure Coast made off with a 13-6 victory. Will Treasure Coast repeat their success, or does Port St. Lucie have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
