Basketball Recap: Rockdale County Comes Up Short

Rockdale County lost against Archer back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rockdale County Bulldogs had to suffer through a 69-37 loss at the hands of the Archer Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 216th, while the Tigers are ranked 22nd).

Loss or not, Rockdale County got some senior leadership from Jada Henry and Brooke Glasgow. Henry almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards, while Glasgow posted 12 points. Glasgow continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Rockdale County has been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 15 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Archer, they pushed their record up to 18-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Rockdale County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 72-56 victory against Heritage on the 28th. As for Archer, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-26 win against South Gwinnett on the 29th.
