Basketball Game Preview: St. Peter Saints vs. Jackson County Central Huskies

The St. Peter Saints will venture away from home to take on the Jackson County Central Huskies at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Peter knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Jackson County Central likes a good challenge.

Last Saturday, St. Peter earned a 64-52 victory over Mankato West. That's two games straight that the Saints have won by exactly 12 points.

Meanwhile, Jackson County Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 61-51 to Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center].

Jackson County Central's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for St. Peter, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

St. Peter beat Jackson County Central 62-50 in their previous meeting back in February of 2015. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Peter since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
