Cedar Falls waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Hempstead Mustangs by a score of 51-42. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 11th, while the Mustangs are ranked 235th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cedar Falls' victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Hempstead, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.

As of now, neither Cedar Falls nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
