Softball Recap: Gill St. Bernard's Comes Up Short

Gill St. Bernard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bound Brook Crusaders. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Knights have suffered since May 16, 2024.

Gill St. Bernard's now has a losing record of 7-8-1. As for Bound Brook, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-9.

Gill St. Bernard's has already played their next contest (against West Morris Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bound Brook, they will challenge Middlesex at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
