Sierra Pacific hadn't done well against Liberty recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Golden Bears came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 2-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Golden Bears as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Sierra Pacific's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Liberty, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sierra Pacific will venture away from home to challenge Hanford at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Liberty, they will challenge Sunnyside at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
