Oblong entered their tilt with Lawrenceville on Thursday with 13 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 14. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Indians. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win back in September.

Oblong had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-23, 25-17.

Oblong can attribute much of their success to Jeighlyn Yoder, who had 13 digs. Those 13 digs gave Yoder a new career-high.

Oblong's record is now 23-5. As for Lawrenceville, they now have a losing record of 14-15.

Oblong will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Indians: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
