Basketball Game Preview: Northwest Indians vs. Fairless Falcons

The Northwest Indians will face off against the Fairless Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northwest will be strutting in after a victory while Fairless will be coming in after a loss.

Last Friday, Northwest didn't have too much trouble with Orrville as they won 66-47. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 97th, while the Red Riders are ranked 452nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Fairless was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 47-33 to Tuslaw.

Fairless now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Northwest, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Northwest against Fairless in their previous matchup back in February, as the team secured a 62-14 win. Does Northwest have another victory up their sleeve, or will Fairless turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
