Softball Recap: King George Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for King George, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Courtland Cougars a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Foxes haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Paige Headley was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Natalie Spillman was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.

King George always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win got King George back to even at 3-3. As for Courtland, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
