Soccer Recap: Irvine Takes a Loss

Irvine fell victim to University and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the University Trojans. That's two games in a row now that the Vaqueros have lost by exactly two goals.

Irvine has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5-2 record this season. As for University, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Irvine will welcome St. Margaret's at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for University, they will host Northwood at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
