Basketball Recap: Red Lodge Piles Up the Points Against Roundup

Red Lodge's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Roundup Panthers 65-27. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-16.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Red Lodge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alyssa Emineth, who went 9 of 17 en route to 20 points and eight boards. Tayler Metzsch was another key player, going 8 for 16 on her way to 17 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

The victory snapped Red Lodge's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-8 record. As for Roundup, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Park City the next time they take the court. Roundup will head out to face Park City at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Red Lodge will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
