Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Ethan St Clair made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Jackson Cote and Shea Curley did most of the damage at the plate: Cote went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run, while Curley got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Looking ahead, Kearsarge will square off against Fall Mountain at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for the Cougars: they have been struggling with eight straight losses at home dating back to last season, while the Wildcats have snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
