Bluffton is 0-4 against McComb since March of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Pirates will host the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Bluffton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Bluffton turned things around against Genoa Area on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Comets 4-3.

Quinn Eachus spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on ten hits.

At the plate, Bluffton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Speicher, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another was Jake Weaver, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McComb). They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over Arcadia on Monday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Redskins recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Bluffton's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for McComb, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
