Recap: Resurrection Bandits vs. St. Francis Spartans
The Resurrection Bandits suffered their biggest loss since November 25, 2023 on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 45-25 walloping at the hands of St. Francis. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Resurrection has scored all season.
Among those leading the charge was Natalie Doyle, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of T?a Rubino, who scored five points along with five rebounds and four steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Resurrection and nudges their season record down to 14-7. As for St. Francis, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Resurrection will take on Rosary at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Francis, they will head out on the road to challenge De La Salle at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. De La Salle will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 330th, while St. Francis is ranked 88th).
