Basketball Recap: Canastota Takes a Loss

Canastota was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-53 heartbreaker at the hands of the Adirondack Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Red Raiders have suffered against the Wildcats since January 7, 2020.

Canastota's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Adirondack, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.

Canastota will host Mt. Markham at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Adirondack, they will head out on the road to face off against Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
