Florence is 9-1 against Globe since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Florence Gophers will venture away from home to challenge the Globe Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Globe took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Florence, who comes in off a win.

Florence is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Apache Junction, posting a 62-26 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Meanwhile, Globe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Coolidge and fell 76-17. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 221st, while the Bears are ranked 110th).

Florence's victory bumped their record up to 3-12. As for Globe, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.

Everything came up roses for Florence against Globe when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 64-11 win. Does Florence have another victory up their sleeve, or will Globe turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
