Coventry is 9-1 against Ravenna since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Comets will take on the Ravens in a holiday battle at 12:30 p.m. Ravenna took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Coventry, who comes in off a win.

Coventry is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They put the hurt on Springfield with a sharp 63-38 win on Wednesday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Comets' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 161st, while the Spartans are ranked 396th).

Meanwhile, Ravenna lost to Streetsboro at home by a 73-55 margin on Wednesday. The Ravens have struggled against the Rockets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The victory made it two in a row for Coventry and bumps their season record up to 3-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points over those games. As for Ravenna, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Coventry beat Ravenna 61-49 in their previous meeting back in February. Will the Comets repeat their success, or do the Ravens have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
