Western SciTech gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't give up any more after. They secured a 48-42 W over the Imagine Prep Storm. The win was just business as usual for the Aztec Warrior, who after four games remain undefeated this season.

When it comes to explaining why Imagine Prep lost, don't look at Kade DeWitte. Despite the final result, he rushed for 174 yards and three scores on only seven carries, and also threw for 144 yards and three TDs. Mario Acosta-Styles was another key player, picking up 112 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Western SciTech's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Imagine Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Western SciTech will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Canyon State Academy at 6:00 p.m. on October 2. As for Imagine Prep, they have already played their next game, a 68-16 victory against Harvest Prep Academy on the 26th.
