The Pennfield Panthers and the Onsted Wildcats squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but sadly the Pennfield Panthers had to settle for second. They fell 56-46 to the Wildcats. Pennfield's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Onsted to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ayden Davis, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds. Davis is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 22 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of JT Hill, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds.

Pennfield's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Onsted, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

Pennfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Onsted is on the road again on Thursday and plays Chelsea at 7:00 p.m. on March 7th.
