All Saints Episcopal School and Ovilla Christian squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but All Saints Episcopal School had to settle for second. They came up short against the Ovilla Christian Eagles, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Patriots seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

While All Saints Episcopal School was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 25-17.

Ovilla Christian found their leader in sophomore Gracie Scott, who had 25 digs, two aces, and a kill. Scott is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in the last seven games she's played.

All Saints Episcopal School's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Ovilla Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 39-6 record this season.

All Saints Episcopal School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ovilla Christian has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Faith West Academy on the 15th.
