Football Recap: Seminole Comes Up Short

Seminole fought the good fight in their overtime game against Hagerty on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 12-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies. The Seminoles just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

A big part of Hagerty's win came down to the chemistry between Courtney Dusart and her top target Gabriella Cervantes. Dusart threw for 39 yards and two TDs while Cervantes picked up 29 receiving yards and a pair of scores. The dominant performance also gave Cervantes a new career-high in receiving touchdowns (two).

Seminole's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Hagerty, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

As of now, neither Seminole nor the Huskies have any future games scheduled.
