Recap: Hernando Leopards vs. South Sumter Raiders
The Hernando Leopards won the last time they faced the South Sumter Raiders, and things went their way on Thursday too. Hernando secured a 38-33 W over South Sumter. The win made it back-to-back wins for Hernando.
Hernando's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kayla Holloman led the charge by scoring 10 points. The game was Holloman's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Tyrah Gary, who scored 10 points.
Hernando's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for South Sumter, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
Hernando will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Weeki Wachee at 2:30 p.m. on December 8th. As for South Sumter, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Central at 12:00 p.m. on December 13th.
