Softball Recap: Pittsburg Takes a Loss

Pittsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 4-1 to the Las Lomas Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 10-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Pittsburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Las Lomas, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pittsburg will welcome San Rafael at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Las Lomas, they will challenge Alhambra at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Alhambra is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.
