Volleyball Recap: Ridgeland Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Ridgeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northwest Whitfield Bruins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on September 4th.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-20.

Leading Northwest Whitfield to victory were Paola Cuna and Addison Manis. Cuna had seven digs and three aces, while Manis had four digs and two aces. That's the most aces Cuna has posted since back in August.

Ridgeland's loss dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Northwest Whitfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-13 record this season.

Ridgeland will square off against Calhoun at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northwest Whitfield, they will take on Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
