Soccer Recap: Hillcrest Takes a Loss

Hillcrest lost against Republic back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hornets took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

Hillcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Republic, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Hillcrest will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Laquey at 11:00 a.m. on September 13. As for Republic, they have already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Branson on the 30th.
