Basketball Recap: Gideon Starts off Right with Win over Eagle Ridge Christian

Gideon had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Eagle Ridge Christian Eagles on Saturday as they made off with a 76-54 victory.

Eagle Ridge Christian is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gideon will square off against Northeast Arkansas Christian Home Educators on December 2. As for Eagle Ridge Christian, they will take on Liberty Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
