Harrison Central won the last time they faced St. Martin and things went their way on Thursday too. The Red Rebels came out on top against the Yellow Jackets by a score of 4-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Rebels.

Gabrielle Smith spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Autumn Brown and Emilye Seiferd did most of the damage at the plate: Brown went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run, while Seiferd went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Brown has hit this season.

Harrison Central's record now sits at 14-15. As for St. Martin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.

Harrison Central is taking a road trip to square off against Pearl River Central at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Blue Devils will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Red Rebels surely won't give up without a fight. St. Martin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
