Baseball Recap: Sealy Beats La Marque for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Sealy entered their tilt with La Marque on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 17-1 margin over the Cougars. Considering the Tigers have won seven contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Mason Dziadek looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Sealy got a massive performance out of Parker Vesely, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That triple was Vesely's first of the season. Blaine Fink was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.

Sealy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Sealy pushed their record up to 11-11 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for La Marque, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Sealy will have a chance to go back-to-back against La Marque: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
