A Season-Best Effort from Sedrick Vaughn Leads Vallejo over Pinole Valley

Vallejo was led to victory by Sedrick Vaughn, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Vaughn rushed for 260 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 33 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making two total tackles.

De Anza is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. Stallworth and De Anza will look to defend their home field on Friday against Salesian College Preparatory at 7:00 p.m.

Swanson Posts Huge Game in 21-14 Win

Wyatt Swanson was a major factor in Saint Mary's win over De Anza on Saturday. Swanson was unstoppable, rushing for 101 yards and three touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making two total tackles.

Saint Mary's now has a winning record of 4-3. Swanson will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Pinole Valley on Friday.
