Lee-Scott Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Flomaton Hurricanes on Friday. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

Lee-Scott Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Flomaton, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lee-Scott Academy beat the Hurricanes by a score of 6-0 later that day.
