Basketball Recap: GEO Next Generation Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact GEO Next Generation can now relate to. They took a blow against Dunham on Monday, falling 63-29. GEO Next Generation lost against Dunham in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 44-34 score last time.

Despite the loss, GEO Next Generation saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ivoryana Powell posted ten points.

GEO Next Generation's defeat dropped their record down to 21-12. As for Dunham, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-9.

As of now, neither GEO Next Generation nor Dunham have any future games scheduled.
