Basketball Recap: Hinsdale South Comes Up Short

Hinsdale South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 72-48 to the Evergreen Park Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 59-50 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

It was another big night for Keshaun Vaval, who posted 31 points for Evergreen Park. The match was Vaval's 27th in a row with at least 17 points.

Hinsdale South's loss dropped their record down to 6-21. As for Evergreen Park, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-15.

Hinsdale South didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 41-39 win against Berwyn/Cicero Morton on the 14th. As for Evergreen Park, they have also already played their next game, a 76-68 victory against Shepard on the 14th.
