Basketball Recap: South Lenoir Blue Devils vs. East Duplin Panthers
South Lenoir lost against East Duplin back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The South Lenoir Blue Devils were outmatched by the East Duplin Panthers and fell 53-20. The Blue Devils were down 43-14 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Despite the loss, South Lenoir still got an impressive performance from Makenzie Herring, who posted 11 points.
South Lenoir dropped their record down to 1-12 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for East Duplin, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-2.
