It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Naples can now relate to. They came up short against the Barron Collier Cougars on Thursday, falling 12-4. The Golden Eagles' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Joslyn Baker was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Leiti, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI.

Naples' defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Barron Collier, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-9.
