Volleyball Game Preview: Argo Argonauts vs. Evergreen Park Mustangs

The Argo Argonauts are taking a road trip to face off against the Evergreen Park Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Argo will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Argo was able to grind out a solid win over Hillcrest, taking the game 2-0.

Argo easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Evergreen Park didn't have quite enough to beat Reavis on Thursday and fell 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Evergreen Park sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 22-25, 25-15.

Evergreen Park's defeat ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-12. As for Argo, their victory bumped their record up to 17-9.

Argo was able to grind out a solid win over Evergreen Park when the teams last played back in May of 2025, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Argonauts since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
