Academy of Our Lady of Peace had lost four straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 6-19 to make it five. They fell just short of the Point Loma Pointers by a score of 3-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pointers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 back in April.

Grace Paine was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in April.
