Football Recap: Gateway Eagles vs. Lennard Longhorns
Gateway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were dealt a 41-6 defeat at the hands of the Lennard Longhorns. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 426th, while the Longhorns are ranked 185th).

Gateway is taking a road trip to face off against Immokalee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lennard, they will play host again on Friday to welcome Leto, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Lennard is facing Leto at the right time seeing as Leto is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
