Volleyball Recap: Sipsey Valley Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hale County on Wednesday, Sipsey Valley came back down to earth. The Bears fell 3-1 to the Northside Rams on Thursday. The Bears have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 26-28, 25-15, 25-16.

Kyndall Bennett was the offensive standout of the game as she had 12 digs.

Sipsey Valley's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Northside, their victory bumped their record up to 18-2.

Looking ahead, Sipsey Valley will face off against Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Northside, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Addison on the 20th.
