Softball Recap: North Hopkins Comes Up Short

North Hopkins and Honey Grove squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but North Hopkins had to settle for second. They lost 14-4 to the Warriors. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

Hadlee Hrabal made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Tatum Thompson, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.

North Hopkins' defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Honey Grove, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-4-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Warriors beat North Hopkins by a score of 13-3 later that day.
