Volleyball Recap: Timber Creek Takes a Loss

Timber Creek and Winter Park squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Timber Creek had to settle for second. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wolves have suffered since May 14, 2024.

Roy Rodriguez paced Timber Creek's offense, picking up nine kills. Rodriguez got some help from Chase Jordan and his 16 assists. Anfernee Lu controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Leading Winter Park to victory were Nicholas Baker and Aidan Fontaine. Baker had nine digs and three assists, while Fontaine hit 78.3% for 19 kills and five digs. Those 78.3% hitting percentage gave Fontaine a new career-high.
