Volleyball Recap: Bishop Montgomery Beats Saint Joseph for Their Third Straight Win

Bishop Montgomery waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Saint Joseph Jesters by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Bishop Montgomery had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-9.

Bishop Montgomery's record now sits at 19-5. As for Saint Joseph, their loss dropped their record down to 14-16.

Coming up, Bishop Montgomery will host Sacred Heart of Jesus at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights are facing the Comets at the right time seeing as the Comets are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Saint Joseph, they will take on St. Anthony at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
