Baseball Recap: Huss Comes Up Short

Huss suffered their closest defeat since February 28th on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Bessemer City Yellow Jackets by a score of 9-7. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellow Jackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in February.

Evan Boyce was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple.

Huss' loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Bessemer City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-16.

Huss has already played their next matchup, a 19-0 defeat against North Gaston on the 29th. Bessemer City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
