Basketball Recap: Wakefield Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Wakefield lost against Alexandria City back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors fell 51-45 to the Titans. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Wakefield lost, don't look at Dominique Harris. Despite the final result, she posted 15 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilah Denton, who shot 45% from the field en route to 11 points in addition to seven boards and five steals.

Wakefield now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Alexandria City, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, Wakefield will take on Yorktown at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alexandria City, they and Stafford will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played.
