Gray Stone Day hasn't had much luck against Mount Pleasant recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Gray Stone Day Knights will venture away from home to challenge the Mount Pleasant Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Gray Stone Day is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Tuesday. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 45-42 heartbreaker at the hands of South Stanly.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Mount Pleasant duked it out with Union Academy on Tuesday. Mount Pleasant took a 58-43 bruising from Union Academy. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Gray Stone Day's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Mount Pleasant, their loss dropped their record down to 13-10.

Gray Stone Day was dealt a bruising 55-20 defeat at the hands of Mount Pleasant in their previous meeting back in January. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Gray Stone Day was down 31-9.
