Football Recap: Spanish Springs Skates Past Clayton Valley Charter with Ease + How To Watch

Spanish Springs won the last time they faced Clayton Valley Charter and things went their way on Friday too. The Cougars took their match with ease, bagging a 42-13 victory over the Ugly Eagles. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked fifth in Nevada, while the Ugly Eagles are ranked 123rd in California) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leading Spanish Springs to victory were Cooper Milligan and Tyson McNeil. Milligan rushed for 95 yards on only ten carries, while McNeil threw for 163 yards and two TDs while completing 76.5% of his passes.

Jhadis Luckey and Mirza Mann certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Luckey rushed for 154 yards and one score, while Mann threw for 95 yards and one touchdown.

Spanish Springs has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spanish Springs will welcome Carson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Clayton Valley Charter, they will be playing at home against College Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
