The matchup between Neshannock and Hickory on Saturday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Lancers were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Hornets. The result was nothing new for Neshannock, who have now won seven games by five goals or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Neshannock and bumps their season record up to 9-3-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those two matches. As for Hickory, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2.

Neshannock and Hickory should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings.
