Basketball Recap: Clover Park Takes a Loss

Clover Park suffered their closest loss since January 11, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Port Angeles Roughriders by a score of 59-57. The Timberwolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Roughriders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

This is the second loss in a row for Clover Park and nudges their season record down to 13-9. As for Port Angeles, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-13 record this season.

Clover Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Port Angeles, they and Sequim will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
