Baseball Recap: Rogue River Takes a Loss

Rogue River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Brookings-Harbor Bruins. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chieftains of the 19-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Rogue River's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Brookings-Harbor, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

While Rogue River had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
