Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, McDonough couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 70-60 to the North Oconee Titans on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-48 back in December of 2024.

McDonough lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Zion Greene, who shot 64% from the field on his way to 19 points and five rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Zaiden Greene, who posted 13 points along with five assists and five boards.
