Baseball Recap: Enterprise/Joseph Victorious

Enterprise/Joseph took a 18-run defeat the last time they faced off against Baker/Powder Valley, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Savages came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bulldogs on Tuesday, sneaking past 5-4. For the Savages, this counts as revenge for the 18-0 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2019.

The win got Enterprise/Joseph back to even at 1-1. As for Baker/Powder Valley, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Enterprise/Joseph will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Umatilla at 3:00 p.m. on May 6. As for Baker/Powder Valley, they will challenge Ontario at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
